Still

Still is a very simple display of a horse skull accompanied by thirteen small hands made of wax and five genuine knucklebones. It questions the aesthetics and operativeness of magic spells by resembling to a sort of unknown ritual where substance, shape and numerology play unclear roles.

This work has been specially created for the Vanity exhibition curated by Yaƫl Kempf and Albane Lamoril. It took place at the CP5/Shakirail in Paris, a former train station in the North of the city.
